Approximation of the Facebook feed. Meta truncates text differently per placement (Reels shows far less), so put the hook in the first line.

Questions

Common questions

What is the best image size for Facebook and Instagram ads?
For feed ads, 1080 × 1350 pixels (4:5) takes up the most screen on mobile. Use 1080 × 1920 (9:16) for Stories and Reels, and 1080 × 1080 (1:1) for carousels.
How much text shows in a Facebook ad before “See more”?
Roughly the first 125 characters of primary text in the feed, and less on Reels. Put your hook and offer in the first line. Headlines get cut at around 40 characters.
What is a good engagement rate?
It depends on the platform and account size. As a rough guide, 0.5–3% on Instagram, 0.1–1% on Facebook, 1–3% on LinkedIn and 3–9% on TikTok. Smaller accounts usually score higher.
How is reach different from impressions?
Impressions count every time your ad is shown; reach counts the people who saw it at least once. Reach equals impressions divided by frequency.
Are my images uploaded when I use the resizer?
No. The image is drawn on a canvas inside your browser and downloaded straight back to your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
